Upgrade Your Linkifun GT8D to the Latest Version

To keep your Linkifun GT8D running smoothly and ensure the best performance, we recommend upgrading to the latest firmware. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to update your GT8D safely and efficiently.

1. Download the Firmware Upgrade Package

Begin by downloading the latest GT8D firmware from the link below:

This file contains everything needed for your device upgrade.

2. Copy the Firmware to Your TF Card

Once the firmware package is downloaded:

  1. Insert a TF card into your computer or card reader. (Please format the TF card to FAT32 format before copying the firmware.)

  2. Copy the downloaded firmware file to the root directory of the TF card.

Important Notes:

  • Do NOT unzip the file.

  • Do NOT rename the file.

  • Make sure the file is not placed inside any folder.

  • TF card size is flexible — just ensure there is enough free space to store the firmware.

3. Start the Upgrade Process

With the firmware copied to your TF card:

  1. Turn on your GT8D device.

  2. Insert the TF card into the GT8D.

  3. The system will automatically detect the firmware and begin the upgrade.

Please wait patiently while the device completes the update. This may take several minutes.
⚠️ Do not power off or remove the TF card during the upgrade.

Important Reminders

  • Do not unzip the upgrade package.

  • Do not rename the firmware file.

  • Place the firmware package directly in the TF card’s root directory.
