Why is my MT23 screen not powering on after installation?

If your MT23 does not power on after installing it on your motorcycle, the issue may be related to the power supply, wiring, or the motorcycle's voltage. Please refer to our detailed step-by-step troubleshooting guide here:

Can I install a screen protector on the MT23 myself?

Yes, the MT23 comes with a standard factory-installed screen protector. Once you receive the product, you can choose to remove it and apply your preferred screen protector.
Before applying a new one, please make sure to remove the sunshade and carefully peel off the default film, then install your chosen screen protector as needed.

Why does the magnetic mount feel unstable? Will the screen fall off?

The MT23 uses a magnetic mount and quick-release cable by design. This was based on customer feedback from our previous fixed-mount motorcycle screens, where users couldn’t easily remove the screen after parking. Some customers reported theft or damage to the screen when left on the bike.

With the magnetic design, you can quickly detach the cable and remove the screen to take it home, reducing the risk of theft or vandalism. However, one downside is that the screen may shake slightly on steep or uneven roads. Rest assured, the screen is secure and will not fall off due to shaking.

This is a trade-off between convenience and stability. That said, we are considering launching more secure mounting options in the future to better meet the needs of outdoor riders who prioritize stronger fixation.

Why does the MT23 take time to boot up?

The MT23 is powered by a full-featured Android 14 operating system, similar to what's used in smartphones and tablets. It is completely normal for the system to take some time to start up, as it needs to initialize the operating system and load essential apps and services.

This ensures smooth and stable performance once the device is ready. Additionally, you can personalize the startup experience by setting your own boot logo and animation, making the wait more enjoyable. For setup instructions, please refer to:

How can I mirror (flip) the front and rear camera images on the MT23?

To mirror the rear camera, tap the DVR module on the home screen, tap anywhere on the screen to bring up the toolbar, then tap the Settings (gear icon). Find the option Camera Horizontal Flip: Rear and toggle it ON.

To mirror the front camera, software flipping is not supported. Instead, loosen the mounting bracket, rotate the front camera 180 degrees to the right (direction indicators are shown on the camera body), and tighten it again to achieve the correct image orientation.
